Based on the data obtained by the researchers conclusion from this study is the application of cooperative learning model type time token can increase speech skills of grade 2 elementary school students. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' speaking skills from the first cycle of 58% increase in cycle II to 88%. The activity and the learning step applied by the researcher refers to the learning step of the time token model, including: explaining the learning objectives, conditioning the class to hold the discussion, assigning the students, giving a number of talking vouchers, handing over the speaking coupon and the last one is doing the assessment.
